You’re at a breaking point and need a place to become grounded, where things can begin to make sense, and where you can heal and learn to live again. You want an expert who treats you as a person, not a problem. You need a plan, but also the flexibility to go at your own pace and the option to switch things up as needed. You want to feel safe in your own skin and with others. Welcome.
You will find I’m steadfast, friendly, and help you feel comfortable and at ease. I’m client-centred and use a variety of trauma and attachment-informed approaches to help you work through pain, increase personal well-being, and gain deeper personal insight.
In our first sessions, we’ll explore your story and your needs. I place a heavy emphasis on engaging the body, emotions, and mind as we learn new ways of regulating and feeling grounded. During treatment, our goal is not just helping you learn how to cope, but to actually heal your wounds.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO# 11838) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCPA# 10004795). I am also an EMDR Certified Therapist. When not in the therapy chair, I find fresh energy exploring nature, feasting with family and friends, and working with my hands. I also enjoy reading good books, deep discussions, and learning new skills.
