Supervision Services
What Is Clinical Supervision? At its heart, clinical supervision is a supportive partnership. Guided by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), it’s a formal agreement where a qualified supervisor walks alongside a supervisee to:
explore the direction of therapy and the heart of the therapeutic relationship,
encourage professional growth and confidence,
strengthen the supervisee’s safe and effective use of self as a therapist, and
keep the well-being of clients at the centre of everything we do.
Supervision is designed to help therapists grow in skill and self-awareness while ensuring that clients receive the best possible care. It can take many forms—one-on-one (individual), in pairs (dyadic) or in small groups (group supervision). Each setting offers space to gain new perspectives, ask honest questions, and learn from experience in a safe and collaborative way.
At GJ Counselling, Jen Watt is a qualified supervisor with the CRPO. Reach out today to learn more about the current offerings in supervision at GJ Counselling.
